And being a lefty playing RD, he has to do alot of backhand clears. The team could really benefit from more lefty/righty balance at D.
Yeah I guess that helps account for all his soft clears. It just makes me cring when McBain is forced to try to clear the zone.

Anyone think it's weird
That AJ Jenks is out performing Evgenii Dadonov?
AJ Jenks was highly ranked before he had a serious heart issue that required surgical repair, if I am recalling correctly, He essentially lost a year of development. He is a big, fast, highly motivated guy who is defensively sound. He always had offensive skills, but he lost some timing and confidence it seemed. Dadonov has superb skills, but probably needs to assert himself more on the ice. Dadonov is a player who is really fun to watch even when he doesn’t score goals because he plays a complete game. So I am not really shocked that AJ Jenks is doing very well. These bigger players also seem to take a little longer to find their game.
