I somewhat recently got engaged and I have been agonizing about the groomsmen gift I need to get. Some people have told me just to get something small, but I really want to get something that will relate to me and my brides special day. I am obviously a huge Carolina Hurricanes fan and came up with what I thought was a neat little gift. But I would like to get my fellow Caniacs opinions. My idea is to get a custom Hurricanes alternate (black) jersey. Put my groomsmen's name on the back and a little patch with me & my brides name & the wedding date on it. I also thought about putting the wedding date in the numbers. The back number would be a 12 for the year and my favorite player, Eric Staal. And the sleeve numbers would be 11 on one arm for the month & 3 on the other arm for the day. My thought is; this is something my groomsmen could possibly wear when the go to games with me and the jersey really represents me & my love for the Canes. What do you guys/gals think? And do any of you know where I could get a patch made?
