For those that don't know the Carolina Hurricanes will be holding their draft party at Rudino's on Edward's Mill Road starting at 6:30 tomorrow. This is the same location that the team has used for each of the previous two draft parties. Initially I was intending to attend the festivities either officially or unofficially for Canes Country. Now it looks like I may not be able to because of child care issues, or, if I attend, I will be solo due to the gracious offer of Mrs. Leaguer to watch the Wee-Leaguer.

With that said, I still wanted to provide an area where CC readers could discuss plans and set up meeting times and places. For those who do plan to attend, if you would like a table, I would suggest arriving at Rudino's at least at 6:00 if not earlier. This way you will get both a parking spot and a table.

Anyone interested in going? Anyone interested in perhaps setting up something somewhere else? As much as I like attending these functions it is difficult to hear what is going on. Thoughts? Ideas? Plans?
