There are a lot of people on CC that have opinions about hockey. Some seem astute and informed. Others emotional running the spectrum from anger infused with nail spitting to happy go lucky optimism (not inferring that emotional responses indicate a lack of sound hockey knowledge). I am curious about how this following views the 1 month countdown to the expiration of the NHL's CBA. Reading the TSN site is like remoting in to an Occupy Bettman rally with many people decrying both sides for being greedy. I am not of that ilk, but get a little testy each time I see a major sport go into lockout. I would be very disappointed if this season is delayed, mainly because of the excitement surrounding our Canes. What do you think? Do you think the process is normal and that shaving it down to the last day is to be expected? Was the NHLPA hiring of Fehr an automatic assumption that a strike or lockout would occur? Can the NHL survive another lockout? What will you do if the lights stay off at the PNC?
