Canes acquire two players from Kings & Flyers !!!

Well our Canes have been busy trading this Sunday afternoon trading away Anthony Stewart & 2013 fourth round pick & 2014 sixth round selection to the Kings for Kevin Westgarth (a 4th line physical/grinder player). The second trade of the day was sending Brian Boucher often injured backup goalie an D Mark Alt for stellar prospect Luke Pither of the Flyers. Pither has 25 points in 30 games AHL games an will be assigned to Charlotte . Anyways I consider dumping Stewart a good move he has been a bust signing an we add a physical player in Westgarth which we need badly I just wish we didn't give up two picks plus Stewart for a 4th liner. Anyways I love the move of getting rid of Boucher b.c. he was never that effective an we need to allow Peters to get the call up to the NHL level so that Muse can continue to develop in AHL an hopefully this will entice Murphy to return the Checkers next season now that he actually has a shot to make it the NHL level with Boucher gone.

UPDATE: Dan Ellis not Justin Peters seem to have the inside track to be Cam Wards backup during this season he was signed at 12pm today.
