Seems "we" still have some unknowns for the upcomming season :)
By the way i thought the short season was wierd.. other than Faulk they didn t seem ready to go..
We always do here s my thoughts and i would love your comments or your fixes..
Since i think most of the canes problems seem to come from the bottom six i will start there..
First of all what job describtions are they given : do we have a scoring 3rd line ? do we have a line we must shelter ? do we have a line that is to play a shutdown role....
At least have a plan not just to rest the top six..
new guys ??? lindholm and maybe a mystery guy. i see four candidates i would not mind trying.
Morrow for the leadership would be my best choice.. (i m whishing) in my mind this gives to possible 3rd lines.
lindholm-nash-morrow : If lindholm is the real deal play them against anyone
dwyer - lindholm - morrow : maybe a shutdown line or a scoring line depends on lindholm.
the other to candidates : peter mueller if we need to plug the nr 3 center hole he may be better than in house options.
mason raymond could do this as well.
if brad boyes doesn t get a home try getting him.
i don t really think any of those guys are comming however :(
so we have to hope for some improving players that we already know. (i know they havent all signed yet)
My 3rd line of choice : dwyer - nash - linholm : u play anybody backcheck hard and maybe lindholm sparks a little offence.. if he is ready for center remove nash and bring up dalpe (a healthy dalpe gets 20 games this time if i am coach unless he fs up)
4th line blaanchard - nash/welsh- welsh/sutter : play hard hit everything twice and crash the net.'
everybody should no their place and be ready to go this time around or trade them...
westgarth could strol along for games we think we might need him boston maybe...
at least i think this would give some hope unnless someone stands out in camp..
am i crazy ?? what do u do ??
