The Carolina Hurricanes ended their Atlantic preseason road trip with another win as they defeated the Ottawa Senators, 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Cam Ward played the entire game and stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced.
Brock McGinn opened the scoring for Carolina with a breakaway goal and Jaccob Slavin notched the game-winner.
The Canes now have a respectable 2-2 preseason record and will come home to complete their exhibition schedule with two games at the PNC. They will face the Capitals on Wednesday night and Penguins on Friday.
