Jared Staal Agrees to Terms With Carolina

As expected, the Carolina Hurricanes signed newly acquired prospect, Jared Staal, to a three year contract earlier today. The two sides hammered out an agreement which will pay the youngster $500,000 at the NHL level in 2010-11 and $525,000 in 2011-12 as well as in 2012-13. He will be paid $50,000 per year at the AHL level.
