Hurricanes prospects Zac Dalpe and Kyle Lawson will both be going to the NCAA Tournament.
Lawson and Notre Dame earned the second overall seed and No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. They will face Bemidji State Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Dalpe and Ohio State received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I Tournament. They will meet No. 1 overall seed Boston University in the opening round of the Northeast region Saturday 28 at 5:30 p.m.
Also worth noting, Wisconsin did not receive a bid, so the Hurricanes could conceivably begin negotiations with junior defenseman Jamie McBain, who is coming off a monster season that has him among 10 finalists for the Hobey Baker Award.
The Top 20 prospects articles are among the toughest things I write all year. It is so hard to access players at such a young age, but the one thing I can say is the pool of talent is much deeper than it's been in a long time.
