Just when you thought things were quiet on the Hurricanes front, a possible mini storm brews up! There was a recent announcement this morning that Tom Barrasso will be replacing Greg Stefan as the team's goaltending coach! Apparently, Stefan will be taking over the coaching duties at Plymouth. Barrasso will continue to serve in his current role as the director of goalie development as well. For the complete press release, check out this link. Many fans were wondering when and if this would happen, ever since the ex-Hurricane and Ron Francis confidant was hired. Perhaps this is the first major decison for the Assistant GM? I wonder if Barrasso can whip John Grahame into shape?
