Hurricanes Newsstand — March 30

The Hurricanes are the NHL's hottest team, but won't play again until Thursday. Will the long rest be good for the bruised and battered (specifically Matt Cullen and Scott Walker)? Or will so many days away from live action cool off piping-hot Cam Ward and Anton Babchuk? Off the ice, there are rumors that Erik Cole and the Hurricanes may be negotiating a new deal. In the NCAA, all three of the Carolina prospects in the tournament saw their teams eliminated, while all of the CHL juniors prospects are still in the hunt.
