Hurricanes Newsstand -- April 17

New, comments

There is plenty of news today concerning game two of the best of seven series between the Hurricanes and the Devils.  There are also plenty of questions.  Will the Canes come out with more jump than they did in game one?  Can they even the series and put themselves into the driver's seat coming back to Raleigh?

There is still no update about who will be starting for the Canes in their third and fourth lines tonight.  (See "Maurice is tight-lipped" below)

Power to the People!  After a plethora of fans complained to the Hurricanes and to the team's flagship network, FS Carolinas has added two HD games to the playoff schedule.  The problem?  Both games scheduled are home games.  Most Hurricanes fans will be watching the games from the RBC, not their HD television sets.

Well, it's better than nothing I guess.

Mike Maniscalco from 99.9 The Fan will be hosting a live web chat from the WRAL sports site starting at 2:30.  Look for the link below.
