TSN has a story today about the NHL's general managers deciding against implementing a "shot to the head" rule. While Patrice Bergeron may be the unfortunate poster boy for head injuries, the chosen photo was not the result of a questionable headshot.
How do we know? Well, the photo was taken following a collision between Carolina's Dennis Seidenberg and Bergeron in late December, with the Bruins' forward initiating the contact. Here's the clip:
While this is surely just a case of careless editing, it's definitely worth clearing up.
