In case you missed it, Sergei Samsonov and Scott Walker missed Hurricanes practice today because of upper body injuries. It was reported that they would both miss tomorrow's matinee in New York. Walker was placed on injured reserve.
To replace them, the Carolina Hurricanes just announced the recalls of forwards Zach Boychuk and Jiri Tlusty from Albany. Tlusty recently made it to Albany after struggling with visa issues in Toronto for the past few weeks. Boychuk has been red-hot of late and has played very well for the River Rats.
