On Saturday the Canes will have the pleasure of hosting the Chicago Blackhawks and our player of the week, Patrick Sharp. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native started his pro career playing for Philly and was traded to the Blackhawks in December of 2005. In his 52 games played this year has 16 goals and 24 assists and will surely outdo his 44 points from last season. (From the sounds of it, maybe even as I type this) In December 2009 he was nominated for Victoria's Secret "Sexiest Chicago Athlete" Seems there was some controversy about who actually "won" the competition. The 28 year old is listed as "single" and shares his home with his basset hound "Dudley" Well ladies, enjoy him while you can as this will be our one and only meeting this season!
