Raleigh, NC NHL executives held an informative meeting about All Star Game volunteer positions on Wednesday night at the RBC Center and over 1,400 individuals attended. Unfortunately, some people had to be turned away. According to News 14, who covered the event, NHL officials said that this was the biggest turn out they had for All Star Game volunteers in the last 10 years.
"The enthusiasm in this market place is tremendous," said NHL Senior Vice President of Events, Don Renzulli.
The NHL needs 1,000 volunteers and they will work about three shifts each over the course of the All Star Classic weekend. Final selections will be made at a later date.
