Team USA will begin their quest for gold with a matchup this afternoon against Team Switzerland starting at 3 p.m eastern. It's expected that Ryan Miller will be the mainstay in net for the Americans. Ex-Hurricane Martin Gerber is on the roster for the Swiss, but look for Anaheim Ducks goalie, Jonas Hiller to get the start.
The Islanders' Mark Streit is the only other NHL player on Team Switzerland.
Team USA is younger than the past few Olympic games but they are in the tough A grouping with local favorite, Team Canada.
