"Down In A Hole," Rats Lose Again To Bears, 6-3

The Hershey Bears used three powerplay goals in the third period to power their way to a 6-3 win over the Albany River Rats on Sunday.  The win gives the Bears a 2-0 lead in the series but both teams will travel to Albany for games on Tuesday and Thursday night as the Rats try to get back on track at home against the number one rated team in the AHL.

Nick Dodge scored a shorthanded goal early in the third period to give the visitors a 3-2 lead, but the Bears struck back moments later and then scored two more powerplay tallies, along with an empty netter to close out the scoring.

Drayson Bowman and Zac Dalpe had the other goals for Albany.

The River Rats need to find a way to stay out of the penalty box if they want to make a series out of this.
