The Carolina Hurricanes announced yesterday that Brian Tatum would be promoted to Senior Director of Team Operations. Tatum, an NC State grad, has been director of team operations for four years. He recently completed his 12th year working in the Hurricanes' organization.
The club also announced the hiring of Jim Ballweg as the team's Senior Director of Corporate Sponsorships. Ballweg most recently worked for the San Diego Padres as Vice President of Sales. He is a graduate of Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh.
