The Carolina Hurricanes have just published a press release confirming what many recent rumors had been alluding to, that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman would be in town tomorrow to help make a major announcement. Hurricanes Owner, Peter Karmanos, and General Manager, Jim Rutherford, will also attend.
Word on the street has it that Carolina will host the 2011 All Star Classic and tomorrow's announcement should confirm that news.
The press conference starts at 12:30 on the South Lawn. Fans are also invited to watch as the announcement will take place along with the previously scheduled Caniac Cookout.
