Draft Coverage Picked up a Notch

New, comments

I'll be leaving for Los Angeles later today and will be joining about 20 other SB Nation bloggers who will be covering the draft for their respective teams. Starting tomorrow, look for updates directly from the draft here on the blog as well as on Twitter.  (Twitter.com/CanesCountry)

Cory and HM will still be here, updating Canes Country with anything that seems worthy of notation or discussion.

The first round of the draft will be on Friday starting at 7 p.m. Eastern and will be televised by Versus.  The rest of the draft will take place on Saturday, (rounds 2-7) starting at 1 p.m. Eastern and that will be televised by the NHL Network.

On Friday, we'll have an open thread starting at 5 p.m. for first round analysis, review, and discussion, then on Saturday we will start another open thread at noon for the subsequent rounds.  Cory will have his top 100 listing and will provide commentary in the threads.  On Saturday, he will be reporting from the media war room at the RBC and should have some interviews and other inside info to pass along.  Of course I'll be chirping in from LA as much as possible.

John Forslund mentioned yesterday on 99.9 The Fan that this could be the most important draft in the history of the franchise.   We agree and Canes Country will be covering it every step of the way.
