The Carolina Hurricanes added some experienced depth to the organization by signing last season's captain of the Norfolk Admirals, Chris Durno, to a one-year deal on Friday. Durno will earn $105,000 at the AHL level and $525,000 if he plays in the NHL, with a $140,000 minimum guarantee.
Yesterday, former Charlotte Checker Jacob Micflikier signed a two-way deal with the Washington Capitals, so while the organization lost one player, they gained another with this signing.
