One night after a big home win again the Capitals, the Carolina Hurricanes, (17-24-8) take on the New York Islanders, (17-21-6) tonight at Nassau Coliseum.
According to a tweet by Hurricanes broadcaster Tripp Tracy, Chad LaRose will be back in the lineup tonight. It is not known where he will fit in within the current line structure, but he will take the place of the newly departed Alexei Ponikarovsky, who scored a goal today for the Devils.

The starting goalie for Carolina has also not yet been announced. Will Kirk Muller go with Cam Ward, who is riding high after a shutout performance? Or will he go with youngster Justin Peters and rest his starter? The Hurricanes have another game coming up on Monday night.
