The Carolina Hurricanes just announced that they are recalling forward Chris Terry from Charlotte. Rookie, Elias Lindholm will be assigned to Charlotte.

‘CANES TO RECALL CHRIS TERRY FROM CHARLOTTE
Elias Lindholm will be assigned to AHL affiliate
RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team will recall forward Chris Terry from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Hurricanes will assign forward Elias Lindholm to Charlotte.
Terry, 24, leads Charlotte in goals (6) and shots (35) and is tied for the team lead in points (10) and power-play goals (3) in 10 games with the Checkers this season. The Brampton, Ont., native made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes in 2012-13, totaling one goal in three NHL games. Terry (5’10", 195 lbs.) lead Charlotte in goals (25), assists (35) and points (60) in 2012-13, and ranked tied for first in the AHL in game-winning goals (8).
The Hurricanes host the New York Islanders on Thursday night at PNC Arena (7 p.m, SportSouth, Hurricanes Radio Network) in the second game of a five-game home stand.
