Last night on the Twitter, there was a bit of a discussion between Hurricanes folk about UFA Matt Cooke. Would he be good for the team or no?

Cooke is a polarizing figure. Some consider him to be a dirty player and some consider him to be a great teammate. The Hurricanes certainly could use more grit and need to have more of an edge to their game. Too many times the team has been called "easy" to play against.

But is Matt Cooke someone you could cheer for? He earned $1.2 million last year and is available if the price is right.
