Tuesday’s scheduled game in Buffalo between the Hurricanes and Sabres has been postponed due to the winter storm affecting much of the eastern United States. As for making up the game, that may be more complicated than getting to a snowy arena tonight.
A look at the teams’ schedules reveals no openings for the teams to play unless one team played three games in three nights. That leaves few options for the league unless they decide to stick the game at the end of the year and play it on an as-needed basis.
Here is the release from the Hurricanes regarding the postponement.
