You won't need to decide which game to watch today. Three games are on the docket, beginning at 3:00 in St. Louis as the Blues and Blackhawks renew pleasantries. Their triple-overtime marathon Thursday gave the Blues a 1-0 series lead through Alex Steen's game-winner, and Game 2 gets the spotlight treatment on NBC and CBC.

Assuming the game in St. Louis doesn't go to multiple overtimes again, you'll have a chance to grab dinner before the second game of the tripleheader faces off at Consol Energy Center. The Blue Jackets expect R.J. Umberger back for Game 2 of the series they trail 1-0 (7:00 p.m., NBCSN, CBC), courtesy of old friend Brandon Sutter's goal in the third period of Wednesday's game which gave the Penguins a 4-3 win.

The nightcap follows immediately after, as Game 2 of the Wild/Avalanche series gets underway in Denver (9:30 p.m., NBCSN, TSN) with the Avs leading the series 1-0 after Paul Stastny's heroics on Thursday. Let the dulcet tones of John and Tripp serenade your late night.

U.S. announcer schedules (via Awful Announcing):

  • Blackhawks/Blues: Dave Strader, Eddie Olczyk, Brian Engblom
  • Blue Jackets/Penguins: Gord Miller, Pierre McGuire
  • Wild/Avalanche: John Forslund, Tripp Tracy
Game on!
