Only three games on the schedule tonight, but no shortage of snarl.

It's a little unusual that a series with such a high profile as Flyers/Rangers would have been shunted off to CNBC for three of the four games of the series, but here we are.  Game 4 of the series gets going at 7:00, also on TSN, and the Flyers welcome Steve Mason back into their crease after he relieved Ray Emery in the third period of Wednesday's game. For Mason, it's his first playoff start since his rookie season, in 2009 with the Blue Jackets.

The other two games, both on NBCSN, head to new locales in Game 5 for both series. At 8:00 (also on CBC), the Blues return home after dropping two games on the road and face a re-energized Blackhawks team that tied the series with Patrick Kane's overtime goal in Game 4.  The nightcap heads back to Anaheim (10:30, NBCSN, TSN) with the Ducks and Stars tied at 2 in their series after the Stars held serve in Dallas during two nasty, chippy games that have made this series one of the most contentious of the first round.

U.S. announcer schedules (via @506sports):

  • Rangers/Flyers: Ken Daniels, Pierre McGuire
  • Blackhawks/Blues: Dave Strader, Brian Engblom
  • Stars/Ducks: John Walton, Butch Goring
Game on!
