More than a few people did work in the Stanley Cup Final, and the points piled up this year in the Canes Country Playoff Pick-Em.
Congratulations are in order to Grizzledbear, who ran away with the title taking 68 points out of a possible 96 over all four rounds. Finishing second was Feast of Maximum Occupancy, only one point ahead of yours truly, so I'm going to pull out some bragging rights over the next year, don't you worry. However, since I'm ineligible for prizes, the third-place prize goes to CanesAndBluesFan, who had 49 points and led a group of five players separated by only two points.
Out of 36 who picked the final, 10 had the Kings in 5, the highest number in any given round in the history of the pick-em. Without further ado, here are the picks for the final, sorted by the final standings order:
Click here if you'd like to see the master spreadsheet with all picks from all 15 series. The highest number of correct series picked was 12 by Cory, and behind him four people picked 11 series correctly and six picked 10 correctly.
To the winners, Bob will be in contact to arrange your prizes. To everyone, thanks for playing this year - we hope you enjoyed it, and we'll be back to do it again next year!
