The Carolina Hurricanes had a rough go of things through the first half of the first period in Vancouver, but Victor Rask set things straight with a beautiful wrist shot goal to give the ‘Canes a 1-0 lead.

It’s Rask’s second goal in as many games to start the 2016-17 campaign. Lee Stempniak picked up his second assist and third point of the young season on the play.
