Jeff Skinner disrupted a clearing attempt in the Flyers’ zone, got it down to Victor Rask, and the big Swede found Lee Stempniak streaking towards the net.
Each member of the dangerous trio has netted six points in five games to open the season, and they have given the Hurricanes life going into the third period.
