Following a rough 6-3 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, there are some changes in the making for the lineup that Carolina will send out to the ice tonight in Detroit. Here’s a look at what you’ll be seeing based on the morning skate:

Viktor Stalberg - Victor Rask - Lee Stempniak

Joakim Nordstrom - Jordan Staal - Sebastian Aho

Teuvo Teravainen - Elias Lindholm - Phil di Giuseppe

Andrej Nestrasil - Jay McClement - Martin Frk

Jaccob Slavin - Justin Faulk

Ron Hainsey - Brett Pesce

Noah Hanifin - Jakub Nakladal

Cam Ward

Eddie Lack

Injuries and Scratches: Jeff Skinner (day-to-day), Klas Dahlbeck (healthy), Bryan Bickell (healthy)

So Stalberg moves up to the top line with Skinner out due to an injury. Nestrasil and Frk get a chance to play against the team that waived them, sliding in for Skinner and Bickell. Nakladal comes back in for Dahlbeck, and Ward will get the nod in net following a stinker of a performance from Lack on Saturday.

The Red Wings are off to a somewhat surprising 4-2-0 start after some questionable front office decisions characterized their offseason. Here’s what to expect to see from them out there tonight:

Gustav Nyquist - Frans Nielsen - Dylan Larkin

Tomas Tatar - Henrik Zetterberg - Riley Sheahan

Andreas Athanasiou - Darren Helm - Thomas Vanek

Steve Ott - Luke Glendening - Drew Miller

Danny Dekeyser - Mike Green

Brendan Smith - Ryan Sproul

Jonathan Ericsson - Alexey Marchenko

Petr Mrazek

Jimmy Howard

Injuries and Scratches: Justin Abdelkader, Niklas Kronwall, Joe Vitale, Johan Franzen, Tomas Jurco, Xavier Oullett
