After an abysmal first period, the Carolina Hurricanes came out firing in period two, and Victor Rask made it a one-goal game thanks to a powerplay goal just over mid-way through the period.

Rask now has points in each of Carolina’s first six games of the season, including four goals.
Andrej Nestrasil picked up his first scoring point of the year with the primary assist on the goal. Noah Hanifin picked up his fifth assist/point of the year as well.
