The Carolina Hurricanes were down 2-1 in period two against the Philadelphia Flyers, at least until Jeff Skinner netted his fifth goal of the season and third in two games on a delayed penalty sequence.

Victor Rask got an assist on the goal, extending his career-long point streak to eight games. Ron Hainsey picked up his second assist of the evening.

Moments later, Viktor Stalberg scored his second goal as a Hurricanes, giving the home team a 3-2 lead.

Stalberg stole the puck off the stick of Flyers rookie defenseman Ivan Provorov, and the rest was history.
