Anaheim Ducks at Carolina Hurricanes: Projected Rosters and Lines

The Canes will roll out a lineup tonight similar to the one that dropped a shootout to the Devils on Tuesday.

Noah Hanifin gets a promotion to the top four tonight.

First things first: Justin Faulk skated before the Carolina Hurricanes’ morning skate today, but was not out for the practice itself. Ryan Murphy was on the ice as the 7th defenseman and looks likely to be a healthy scratch tonight. Here are the Canes’ lines based on the morning skate today:

Jeff Skinner - Victor Rask - Elias Lindholm
Joakim Nordstrom - Jordan Staal - Andrej Nestrasil
Phil Di Giuseppe - Teuvo Teravainen - Lee Stempniak
Viktor Stalberg - Jay McClement - Sebastian Aho

Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Noah Hanifin - Ron Hainsey
Klas Dahlbeck - Jakub Nakladal

Cam Ward
Eddie Lack

(And hey, if you want to watch part of the Canes’ morning skate, there’s video below.)

The only change in the lineup is a shuffling of the 2nd and 3rd defensive pairings, with Hanifin and Dahlbeck swapping spots. Cam Ward will get the starting nod tonight, his second straight start and his sixth in the past seven games.

As for the Ducks, they did not skate this morning after coming into town early this morning. They will likely roll out the same lineup as they did last night in an overtime loss to the Blue Jackets:

Nick Ritchie – Ryan Getzlaf – Corey Perry
Andrew Cogliano – Ryan Kesler – Jakob Silfverberg
Joseph Cramarossa – Antoine Vermette – Richard Rakell
