Matt Tennyson held the zone and threw the puck towards Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, but it was blocked in the slot by Nick Holden and Viktor Stalberg took advantage of a golden opportunity from the tops of the circles.
It’s Stalberg’s fifth goal of the season and second in as many games. Tennyson assisted on Stalberg’s goal on Sunday against Florida, and he got the lone assist on the goal here. It’s his second of the season.
