Down by a goal in the third period, the Carolina Hurricanes needed something to go their way, and that’s exactly what happened.

Ron Hainsey took advantage of a great pass from Elias Lindholm in the offensive zone and netted his first goal of the season.

It’s the Hurricanes’ first shorthanded goal of the 2016-17 campaign.
