The goalies were flawless in the shootout through the first five shots, but Jaccob Slavin broke the streak and delivered the game-winning goal.

It’s Carolina’s first win in overtime/shootout this season and it’s a big victory in the front end of a back-to-back set.

The Carolina Hurricanes will return home to take on the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.
