WATCH: Nicolas Roy sets up a Canada goal with an insane pass

Apparently the Canes’ prospect is a ninja.

Nicolas Roy, the Carolina Hurricanes’ fourth-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and one of three Canes prospects on the Canadian team for the upcoming World Junior Hockey championships, is playing tonight with Canada in a warmup game for next week’s tournament.

Needless to say, he deserves his spot on the team after this insane no-look pass to Tyson Jost. Both of the other future Canes on Team Canada were involved on the play: Jake Bean fed Roy on a pass from the left point, which Roy then redirected across the crease, and Julien Gauthier drew two defenders to him through the middle to free up Jost for the one-timer.
