Watch: Nicolas Roy contributes to Canada’s cakewalk over Latvia at 2017 World Juniors

Team Canada remains perfect and Roy scores his second of the tournament.

For the second time in three games, Hurricanes prospect Nicolas Roy has lit the lamp for Team Canada at the 2017 World Juniors. His tip-in on the power play midway through the first period put Canada up 2-0 on their way to a 3-0 lead after one.

The undefeated Canadians now find themselves on a collision course with the undefeated Team USA for the top seed out of Group B. The two rivals face off on Saturday night in Toronto to wrap up the group stage of the tournament.

Oh, and Julien Gauthier scored his first of the tournament, but seeing as how it was the definition of a meaningless goal — making the score 10-2 with less than two minutes left — it seems that no one was in any hurry to post a video, so you're on your own.

(The video is in French because TSN doesn't play nice with their embeds but RDS does for some reason. Also, make sure your ad blocker is off.)
