Hurricanes Lines
Bill Peters said this morning that Ryan Murphy, who missed yesterday’s practice after taking stitches in “a tough spot” (ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow), wasn’t a guarantee to draw in tonight, but it seems more likely after Murphy took the optional morning skate. If Murphy doesn’t go, Klas Dahlbeck — a third-round pick of the Blackhawks in 2011 — will see his first action in more than a month.
Everything else is expected to remain as it was Tuesday, which makes these posts rather easy to do by this point:
Jeff Skinner - Victor Rask - Derek Ryan
Brock McGinn - Jordan Staal - Elias Lindholm
Sebastian Aho - Teuvo Teravainen - Lee Stempniak
Joakim Nordstrom - Jay McClement - Viktor Stalberg
Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Ryan Murphy - Ron Hainsey
Noah Hanifin - Matt Tennyson
Cam Ward
Eddie Lack
Injuries and Scratches: Bryan Bickell (IR multiple sclerosis), Justin Faulk (upper-body), Andrej Nestrasil (healthy), Klas Dahlbeck (healthy)
Blackhawks Lines
The Hawks flew into Raleigh last night after a comeback win against the Predators last night. Tonight will be their second game without Marian Hossa, who is out with an upper-body injury and may be back in time for Monday’s Winter Classic in St. Louis, but is definitely out tonight.
Corey Crawford played last night, so Scott Darling will likely get the call this evening. Also last night, Brian Campbell’s ironman streak ended with a healthy scratch after 423 straight games dating back to 2011, and given that the Hawks won last night it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Campbell in the press box again tonight.
Ryan Hartman - Jonathan Toews - Vincent Hinostroza
Artemi Panarin - Artem Anisimov - Patrick Kane
Dennis Rasmussen - Marcus Kruger - Richard Panik
Tyler Motte - Tanner Kero - Jordan Tootoo
Duncan Keith - Trevor van Riemsdyk
Niclas Hjalmarsson - Brent Seabrook
Michal Kempny - Michal Roszival
Scott Darling
Corey Crawford
Injuries and Scratches: Marian Hossa (IR upper-body), Andrew Desjardins (healthy), Brian Campbell (healthy), Gustav Forsling (healthy)
