The Blackhawks took an early 1-0 lead on Friday despite an early push from the Hurricanes.
Carolina kept their foot on the gas following the early tally and came up with two of their own just 1:05 apart from each other.
Elias Lindholm got the home team on the board after a great net front drive from Jordan Staal.

Just over a minute later, Lee Stempniak also netted his second goal in as many games as he was the beneficiary of a prime rebound opportunity after the original shot from Teuvo Teravainen and a deflection from Sebastian Aho.
