Ryan’s highlight reel goal gives the Canes a 2-0 lead.

This one was a dandy. On a shorthanded rush, Checkers alumni Brock McGinn and Derek Ryan combined for a beautiful goal to put the Carolina Hurricanes up by two in Los Angeles.

It’s Ryan’s second goal of the game and third of the season. Brock McGinn and Jaccob Slavin picked up their second and eighth assists of the season on the goal, respectively.
