Hurricanes' 2016 Exhibition Schedule Released

The Hurricanes will play twice at the PNC next preseason and will compete in seven exhibition games in total.

The Carolina Hurricanes will open their preseason next fall against the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center on September 26.  They will close the preseason on October 7 against those same Capitals at the PNC Arena.

The Canes will play a total of two exhibition games on home ice, versus the Caps on October 7 and the Tampa Bay Lightning on September 30.

In between those games, they will play twice against the Buffalo Sabres, the first time at Marquette, Michigan on October 4 and then again the very next night at Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.

They will play just once against the Minnesota Wild at St. Paul on October 2 and will face the Lighting in Tampa Bay on September 27.
