Buffalo Sabres vs. Carolina Hurricanes: Lines and Rosters

The Hurricanes take on the Buffalo Sabres tonight looking for a season sweep.

Jamie Kellner

The Hurricanes, now 12-1-1 at PNC Arena since November 12, look to continue their winning ways at home tonight. Bill Peters said this morning at the optional skate that Brett Pesce was feeling “a little wonky” and was questionable to play tonight. Otherwise, things should be the same as they have been recently, although Ryan Murphy may come in for Pesce should the need arise.

Projected Hurricanes Lines:

Jeff Skinner - Victor Rask - Derek Ryan
Brock McGinn - Jordan Staal - Elias Lindholm
Sebastian Aho - Teuvo Teravainen- Lee Stempniak
Joakim Nordstrom - Jay McClement - Viktor Stalberg

Ron Hainsey - Justin Faulk
Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Noah Hanifin - Matt Tennyson

Cam Ward
Michael Leighton

Injuries and Scratches: Bryan Bickell (IR multiple sclerosis), Eddie Lack (IR concussion), Ty Rattie (healthy), Klas Dahlbeck (healthy), Ryan Murphy (healthy)

Buffalo is coming off a 4-2 loss in Tampa Bay last night and will most likely have a different look in net. Although Bylsma switched up line combinations last night, there has been no indication the starting lineups will change.

Projected Sabres Lines:

William Carrier - Ryan O’Reilly - Kyle Okposo
Marcus Foligno - Jack Eichel - Brian Gionta
Evander Kane - Sam Reinhart - Justin Bailey
Nicolas Deslauriers - Zemgus Girgensons - Matt Moulson
