Welcome to the Jeff Skinner show.

Down 1-0 to the Buffalo Sabres after the first period, the Carolina Hurricanes came out in the second period on a mission. Mission accomplished.

Skinner got Carolina on the board at 1:48 of the second period.

Just as Skinner got on the ice, Carolina turned the puck up ice and Derek Ryan found Skinner streaking down the left wing, and he made no mistakes.

It was Skinner’s 16th goal of the season. Ryan (10) and Jordan Staal (11) got the assists.

55 second later, Jeff Skinner was back at it again.

This time, Skinner flew up the right wing, and he rung it off the far-side post and past Sabres goalie Anders Nilsson.

It was Skinner’s 17th goal of the season. Justin Faulk hit him with a beautiful breakout pass and picked up his 11th assist of the year.
