Carolina Hurricanes

Ahead of the Hurricanes’ match up with the Washington Capitals, Bill Peters has made some adjustments in the forward lines for the second game in a row. Jay McClement looks to be the odd man out in the forward ranks to accommodate the return of Teuvo Teravainen to the lineup, and the other lines have seen some minor juggling as well. After a one-game hiatus, the pairing of Noah Hanifin and Matt Tennyson will return tonight, and to the shock of no one Cam Ward is back in net.

Here's how they lined up at practice this morning:

Jeff Skinner - Victor Rask - Ty Rattie
Sebastian Aho - Jordan Staal - Elias Lindholm
Brock McGinn - Derek Ryan - Lee Stempniak
Joakim Nordstrom - Teuvo Teravainen - Viktor Stalberg

Jaccob Slavin - Brett Pesce
Ron Hainsey - Justin Faulk
Noah Hanifin - Matt Tennyson

Cam Ward
Michael Leighton

Washington Capitals

The Capitals head back to the nation’s capital with a 4-3 OT comeback victory in hand over the Dallas Stars Sunday on the road. Washington is riding a 13 game point streak. Expect Braden Holtby in the net tonight. Here were the lines at their skate this morning:

Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - T.J. Oshie
Marcus Johansson - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Justin Williams
Brett Connolly - Lars Eller - Andre Burakovsky
Daniel Winnik - Jay Beagle - Tom Wilson

Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen
Brooks Orpik - Dmitry Orlov
Taylor Chorney - Nate Schmidt

Braden Holtby
