Watch: Cam Ward robs Patrick Kane on a breakaway

The Hawks’ leading scorer couldnt beat the Canes’ netminder on a second period breakaway.

Cam Ward hasn't had a ton of work tonight, but after Jonathan Toews opened the scoring for the Blackhawks he made a beautiful save on Patrick Kane to keep the score at 1-0. Ward stuck out his left leg to keep the league’s fifth-leading scorer from doubling the lead.
