Carolina Hurricanes at Arizona Coyotes: Rosters and Game Discussion

The Hurricanes are in desperate need of a win tonight in Arizona, and they’re looking for a spark from a player who will make his NHL debut tonight. Roland McKeown was called up almost as an afterthought when Brett Pesce suffered a concussion in practice on Wednesday, and he’ll suit up tonight alongside Noah Hanifin in place of Klas Dahlbeck.

Bill Peters made changes to the forward lines throughout Thursday’s loss to the Avalanche, and a few of those changes will trickle through to tonight’s game. The Canes didn’t take a morning skate, but here’s how they’re projected to line up:

It took until the Arizona Coyotes’ eleventh game of the season to score their first win, and they went right back to their old ways in losses to the Red Wings and Sabres. This is their first game home after a long road trip, and the Canes will look to take advantage of what could be an early set of doldrums that seems to befall teams coming home after a while away. Whatever happens tonight will likely be at 5-on-5, as these two teams are the least penalized in the NHL.
