Game Notes
- The Hurricanes lost 5-0 to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. This marks the 2nd time in the last five games that the Hurricanes were shut out.
- It’s the last game for the Hurricanes before their bye week, which lasts through Thursday afternoon. The Canes aren't back in game action again until Friday when they host the Colorado Avalanche.
